Early Life, Childhood and Education
Queen Nwokoye was born in Lagos on August 11, 1982, into the family of Mr. Nwokoye. She is from Ihembosi in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra state. Queen Nwokoye was born into a family of seven children, including three boys and four girls.

Her parents were devout Catholics, and she was raised in a strict Catholic household. Her mother and maternal grandmother were both teachers.
Queen Nwokoye grew up in Lagos and is currently 39 years old. She attended Airforce Nursery and Primary School, the Independence Layout primary school, and Ekulu primary school, all in Enugu for her primary education before finishing her basic education at Queens College, Enugu.
She continued her education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where she studied Sociology and Anthropology.
In 2019, Queen Nwokoye lost her father and mother within 6 months. She was able to pull through the storm and face her life.

Career
Her career in the industry began in 2004 after she saw a film in which Stephanie Okereke played the main character. Stephanie Okereke, in other words, inspired her to become a Nollywood actress. Her desire to become an actress led her to Lagos, where she joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). She began attending auditions after joining AGN and eventually landed her first role.

After completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, she was cast in the film “Nna Men” in 2004. The film provided her with more opportunities in the industry.
Queen Nwokoye has appeared in over 150 films since the beginning of her career. The talented actress rose to prominence after appearing in the 2014 film “Ada Mbano,” directed by Kingsley Okereke, and “Chetanna,” directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka and produced by Chigozie Atuanya.

Queen Nwokoye is married to Pastor Oluchi Uzoma, an Imo State clergyman, politician, and South African-based businessman. Queen Nwokoye married Uzoma in a low-key ceremony in 2011.
The couple was first seen together in late 2014, during a New Year’s Eve cross-over night in South Africa. Queen’s marriage to Oluchi Uzoma produced three children: twin boys and a girl. Queen Nwokoye had her two sons in 2016 and a daughter in 2018.
