Ric started singing at a tender age but took it serious during his days at the University when he started performing in local events.

His rise to spotlight came in 2012 when he took his career professionally and in 2013, he posted his video on YouTube which gained more than 75,000 views.

In 2021, Ric released a controversial song “Thunder Fire You” a song which was trending and got the attention of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), who banned the song from radio stations.

Ric Hassani’s debut album ‘The African Gentleman‘ was released August 31, 2017 and it earned massive streams on digital platforms.
